Some Chalk Paint Pieces

I so wish I did more before and after shots but alas after a piece is sold it is too late to even think about it. Here are a few items I did with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. The dresser is a direct copy from Miss Mustard Seed’s Blog. The Antiques Sign is painted, stenciled and then distressed and lastly a dark wax is applied. Love the upside -down S. We painted these sap buckets with chalkboard paint and use them for various sayings and to present as gifts filled with kindling.

Everyone Loves Green

The red chairs are 1900’s T back oak chairs painted with Emperor’s silk and then waxed and distressed. The seats are recovered in antique grain sack fabric.

This dresser sold at Brimfield Antique Shows this summer but I think I will do another one soon!

Our Inventory of Furniture to refinish has grown way to fast and I think I need to purge some soon. How do you get rid of something you have great plans to re-do when you know someone will just love it when it is done.

Trying to get the courage to do a real purge, any ideas?

There simply is not enough room for everything or enough time to do all the things I want to do!!  Hopeless Collector I am!

Enjoy your weekend. PTL
